You choose whether to allow optional analytics. The page-view counter and any configured Google Analytics tag run only after you accept.
Optional website analytics
After you choose “Allow analytics”, DigiPixel records the page visited and the day of the visit in a first-party page-view counter. We store aggregate counts, not visitor profiles, names or email addresses. Signed-in editor visits and draft previews are excluded. Declining analytics does not affect the content or services available to you.
A short-lived signed token prevents duplicate view counts. A temporary hash of the connection address is used to limit abusive requests and expires after two minutes; the raw address is not stored in the analytics database. Aggregate daily page counts are retained for reporting.
Optional Google Analytics connection
If a Google Analytics property is connected, its tag also loads only after you allow analytics.
Analytics can record page views, device and browser information, approximate location and interactions such as opening a service page or clicking an enquiry link. Google processes this information through its Analytics service. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website configuration.
Your enquiry stays out of analytics
We do not send the name, email address or message you enter in the enquiry form to Google Analytics. If you allow analytics, we record a successful enquiry event and your selected service only after your message has been accepted.
Contact enquiries & spam protection
When you send an enquiry, we store your name, email address, selected service and message in our private website inbox, hosted by Cloudflare. Only the owner and authorised team members can read enquiries. We use these details to respond to your request. When email sending is enabled, our mail provider processes the enquiry to notify our team and send an acknowledgement to the address supplied. The acknowledgement contains your name, selected service and enquiry reference; it does not repeat your message. Contact us if you would like your enquiry removed.
This form uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to help prevent spam. When you interact with the form, Cloudflare processes browser and connection information to check the request. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details. This security check works independently of optional analytics.
We use a temporary hash of the connection address to limit repeated submissions. The raw address is not stored in the enquiry database. Rate-limit records expire within two hours; a hash of the verification token is kept with the enquiry to prevent duplicate submissions.
Remembering your choice
Your analytics preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. This preference storage does not track you. If you allow analytics, Google may set first-party cookies with names beginning _ga to distinguish visits. This website configures those cookies with a 180-day lifetime, which may be refreshed when you visit.
Changing your mind
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to change your choice when analytics is enabled. Declining after previously accepting stops further page-view recording and any connected Google Analytics tag, and attempts to remove its analytics cookies. It does not remove anonymous aggregate counts already recorded or information already processed by Google.
